This Saturday afternoon 4K Toronto walk takes us along the popular Queen Street West which is typically one of the most vibrant and busiest streets in the city. Thanks to the Coronavirus / Covid-19 it has mostly shutdown. I start out in front the the Eaton Centre at the intersection of Queen and Yonge and head west along the north side of Queen Street. I walk past City Hall and through the West Queen West and Parkdale neighbourhoods. You'll notice some long lines in front of a few of the Cannabis stores as the province has deemed that they are non essential and will be closed for at least a couple of weeks after this weekend. It was a bit strange to see area in front of City Hall so empty as it would normally be packed at this time along with the rest of Queen Street West. I recorded this starting around 2 pm on Saturday, April 4th and the entire walk was just under 6 km. At the end of Queen Street West I turned north and continued on through Roncesvalles Village which will appear in a future video.
