This traditional timber-frame English cottage in Callow Hill, Redditch, had suffered years of damage from incorrect cement render. Moisture had been trapped, soaking into the brick infills between timbers and causing them to crumble.
Our restoration process included:
✅ Carefully removing all cement render and damaged brickwork
✅ Rebuilding infills with reclaimed bricks and lime mortar
✅ Applying a traditional 3-coat lime render with cork for natural insulation
✅ Finishing with a breathable potassium silicate paint
