"Delight" was the first song I ever wrote for a girl.
It came from an email—
a letter from my cousin after she lost her baby.
She was angry.
Heartbroken.
But somehow, still hopeful.
I didn’t know how to reply.
So I wrote a song.
Years later, she had her daughter.
Her name is Bella.
She doesn’t know this song was for her.
