“Good day everyone, my name is Anri and I would just like to testify about hearing God’s voice. Now, I am 26 years old and from a very young age I had the privilege of having parents who serves the Lord and loves the Lord. We attended church often, I was taught to love God’s word and to pray. I never lacked the knowledge of God, if I can say it like that… but I was never taught that I could hear God’s voice. When I finished matric, I came to Bloemfontein, South Africa to Creare Training Center and I actually came to study dance and music. Little did I know that God had many other agendas to touch my heart and to change my life. I did God’s Blueprint (a course-God’s Blueprint). I did Hear and Obey-How to hear God’s voice and Perspective; which really changed my life! There, one of many things that I learned is how to hear God’s voice and that God wants to speak to you directly through the inner voice of His Holy Spirit. God can speak us, really in a lot of ways. (He speaks to us in a lot of ways.) He can speak through His word, He can speak through other people, He can speak through visions, through dreams, through nature. He’s really not limited in that way but one of the ways is that He wants to speak into your spirit. The Word says-God’s Word says, “deep cries unto deep.” It is my spirit that cries out and longs for more of the Holy Spirit…. And ja…I got some practical ways of how to train myself to be tuned into the Spirit and to hear God’s voice and it literally changed my life. Where in the past I would just think, “what is a good thing to do now?” or “Ja, I think this is what Jesus would do.” (With all respect hey!) I never asked or I didn’t know that I can ask God, “But Lord what is the specific thing that You want me to do and say “or “What is on Your heart for me today? “or “God, I need You just to come and encourage me.” Or “Lord what is the dream that is in Your heart-what do You want me to do, in the future? What job do You want to me do? Where do You want me to go? Who do You want me to get married to? Like all those things that’s really big questions in our hearts always and I am so thankful, and I praise God that I could learn how to hear His voice and I wish it for every one of you. I pray that if you are watching this video and it’s your desire that God will come and speak to you in a fresh and new way then that is my prayer for you. I believe that God wants to speak to all His children. That’s the heart of the perfect Father-to be with His children-not just to disciple them, not just to..ja..not just that but to come and speak to you like a normal earthly good father wants to speak to his children.
