Global EV battery consumption rose by 44.4% to 485.9 GWh during this period. CATL installed 178.9 GWh of batteries, securing a 36.8% market share, while BYD installed 76.6 GWh, capturing a 15.8% share. South Korea's LG Energy Solution ranked third with a 14.3% share. Notably, Gotion High-tech overtook Eve Energy to become the 8th largest battery manufacturer.
