This FMS 1300mm Piper Carbon Cub has an 850KV motor, 40A ESC, 3S (3300mah and 2200Mag batteries, navigation lights, working flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevator, and large bush tyres.
Flight Review:
This flight was about testing the Cub on sand. Takeoff from the soft ground was successful using the bush tyres, and it lifted cleanly into a low circuit along the coastline.
Low passes stayed tight and controlled, including one confident pass through a fork in the tree. Precision was very good and flap performance was excellent, especially during slow flight close to the ground.
Most takeoffs and landings were done on natural features like patches of grass. Taxiing between grass sections worked well by keeping the plane light on the tyres with a high flap angle.
Manoeuvres were kept simple with elevator rolls and gentle positioning. The flight finished with a smooth landing along the sand.
