Описание: There is no doubt that Sümela monastery is the most iconic symbol of the Turkish Black Sea region built into a steep mountain that seems impossible. Even today with a proper road and walking trail, it is really hard to climb up to the monastery. At the time of our visit, the main entrance of the monastery was closed due to renovation and we could only see the entrance of the whole building but the renovation has finished recently and visitors are allowed to enter inside. Without further due, walk with us and see it yourself!
