What's The Deal With This Thing? The Cumberland Float Tube

Описание: The year is 2022. I popped my previous INTEX River Runner tube sledding off a sizable snow pile and, while totally worth ending the 6+ years it served me, I needed a big boy upgrade. River floating and camping is one of my most enjoyed activities and I wanted something that was heavy duty and designed to last years; maybe even decades.

This began my many week deep dive on all the different float tube brands, designs, and price points. In the end, I felt that the Cumberland Float Tube would was the best choice for me. Around this time is when I also decided to create a YouTube channel for all of the random things that I'm interested in and like to do/or create. So I purchased this tube (link down below) and over the course of 3 weeks, I put together some video clips that make up the entirety of this video on my iPhone.

For the rest of the summer I slaved away at trying to figure out how this video editing process worked. Some how or another, the individual clips that made up the mostly completed video failed to upload and were also deleted from the phone along with many more videos of other projects I was working on. I would say at least 700-1000 hours of recording and editing all lost to the great trash bin in the sky.

Feeling defeated, I threw in the towel on creating any new video for a while until one day in early January of 2024, I found a compressed version of the video while clearing out some storage space. The flame was reignited under me and I'm back on track to making more videos now and for the foreseeable future.

Since it's currently winter at the time of finishing this video, and living in the New England, its not exactly river tubing weather so I plan to to have a follow up video to this one in the summer.

In this video, I unbox and provide my commentary on the tube and the contents of the box. I hope it's informational and has good entertainment value. Any feedback, thoughts, and opinions in the comments is greatly encouraged aside from the obvious fact that my videography and editing needs some work.
