Community Plans shape the environment around us by defining how land is used in a neighborhood, whether it’s for parks, housing, jobs, or manufacturing. The Los Angeles City Planning Department updates these Community Plans periodically to ensure that the land in each community is able to accommodate future generations of people and jobs in a way that is aligned with environmental, land use and development goals for the region.
