Howdy Y'all...in this episode, Wavey Gravey and I blast down to Kentucky to buy a pontoon boat. Why you ask? To do some good ol' fashion parts harvesting! :) We got a low hour, fresh water only 2007 Honda 50 hp 4-stroke (the perfect motor for the barge) The pontoon is also sitting on a brand new tandem axle trailer, that with any luck (and bunk mods) will work for the Beagle Barge. There's some useful odds and ends (light, batteries, fish finder) too. I figure it's worth while to chronicle as much of the build process this winter as possible, to help future budget minded shanty boat builders and captains on the budget build process. In a nutshell....you're gonna have to travel if you want to stay in budget. Thank you for watching everyone. See you again real soon.
