Описание: The South African Revenue Service has welcomed a court order
suspending the proposed 0.5 percentage point VAT increase.

The Western Cape High Court has set aside Parliament’s approval of the
fiscal framework.

SARS Commissioner Edward Kieswetter says the ruling brings much-needed
clarity for VAT administration and spares businesses and consumers
from disruption.
