Choir Practice Score: “Kyrie” from Mozart’s “Mass in C major”, K.167 , “Missa in honorem Sanctissimae Trinitatis” (Trinity Sunday Mass) Composed by Mozart in June of 1773, it is often referred to as the “Trinitas Mass” It is perhaps the most notable mass of all his youthful compositions. It is Mozart's only wholly choral mass setting, excluding all solo vocalists and strictly observes liturgical precepts. One can only marvel at the inspiration, the freshness and the drama with which Mozart responded to each sacred text.
