I have wanted to go to a Renaissance Faire for the past few years. After checking for a renfaire in my area and chatting with friends about their interests in possibly going to a renfaire, I planned my first ever Renaissance Faire to be my birthday celebration with my best friends!

Tiktok and Instagram led me to learn about the Irwindale Renaissance Pleasure Faire. It felt like I got isekai'd into another realm and in another time. Since many of my friends and I have been to anime conventions and cosplayed anime/videogame characters, I chose to have the celebration during Irwindale's Renaissance Pleasure Faire's RennCon weekend (cosplay weekend). So that way, if not everyone could get some Rennaissance-themed outfits, they could just cosplay what they already own.

This renfaire has opened me up to a new world, one that makes life feel even more magical! I can't wait for the next season and might even try to get a season pass for Irwindale's Renaissance Pleasure Faire next year. And next time, I'll try the zipline!
