What makes Mbaye restaurant unique is that it is named after her father, Malal, who was a chef de cuisine himself. Sadly, he passed away just three years ago. Today, Mbar honors his memory and his passion for cooking by carrying on his legacy through her restaurant.
As a mother and businesswoman, Mbar is a true inspiration. She encourages the youth to work hard and pursue their dreams, just like she did. Her determination and dedication have brought her success, and now she welcomes all to try her delicious food.
Located in Whitehaven, an area with an increasing African population, Mbar's restaurant has become a second home for many. The community finds comfort in her authentic food and warm hospitality.
