-Thunder Cross II is a surprisingly awesome arcade shooter released in 1991.
-This game is played on max difficulty level. Ennemies attack more often, move quicker and bosses/mid-bosses are stronger. This is a really enjoyable game which deserves much more love. The original AVI recording was quite large and divided into 16 files, so I had to put the pieces alltogether and transcode the final AVI video, so sorry for some transcoding issues. Played with autofire and XBox 360 controller.
-End of level 2-6 was really scary, I think I got lucky there. Big laser beams can jeopardize all the run, but they also erase ennemie's bullets, so it's possible to use them for your benefit. Moreover, bosses are quite easy, Thunder Cross II is more about one-hit death traps and claustrophobic areas from level 2 on. Recoveries can be also very painful, but unlike Gradius games, if you lose a life in special areas, you can get back some firepower rather quickly.
Thanks again to Perikles STG for inspiring me this challenge, the game on difficulty level 5 is even more fun IMO.
