From equipment that does not fit all bodies to stigma that shapes care decisions, these issues can delay diagnosis, limit treatment options and affect outcomes. This Fresh Perspective panel highlights the problems and how healthcare spaces and systems can do better.

By bringing together research, lived experience and practical solutions, the conversation shows how more accessible and respectful care can support dignity, safety and equitable access for all patients.
