Описание: American Modern Insurance Group sponsored unique research done by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), which focused on structures that are often attached to manufactured homes. The research evaluated the effect of high winds, such as those experienced during hurricanes, low-level tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms. While this research focused on wind performance of carports, test results also are applicable to other attached structures, such as porches, awnings, and canopies. The test results also are applicable to both factory-built manufactured homes and traditional site-built homes.
