Kozhikode: For Mukkam police it seems murder attempt invites just minor charges. An FIR filed on an alleged murder attempt of environment activist Basheer by trying to run over by tipper lorry gives all options for the goons of quarry mafia who were allegedly behind the crime to escape. The incident happened last month 30th and Basheer suffered injuries. But now the police have taken an FIR putting minor charges against the accused suggesting that they are hand in glove with the quarry mafia.
