The Covid19 Pandemic has put a halt to filmmaking everywhere in the world. But just because we are in lockdown doesn't mean we should put a stop to our passions. With all this free time, now is actually a good time to sharpen our skills or learn new crafts.
Lucky for me, my daughter agreed to do some acting for a bit of quarantine filmmaking exercise, and for a genre she refuses to watch - horror. I've edited a horror film before but I've never directed one myself, so it's good to take this time to try an make one.
The idea here is to come up with a story using basic shots. I take cues here from directed David Sanberg (@ponysmasher), while borrowing from the movie Hereditary. We shot for about half an hour and I edited right away. I hope to come up with a series while we're all still in lockdown.
