Michael Koubi, a former Shin Bet official who interrogated Yahya Sinwar for 180 hours in Israeli prison, said on Friday (December 1) that the Hamas leader in Gaza was a ruthless and rational man with "murderous eyes". In an interview to Reuters, Koubi said Sinwar was "the cruellest man I've ever met," describing how Sinwar had told him he had killed at least 12 people he suspected were collaborating with Israel, using a butcher's machete, hence his name by which Koubi said he's known in Gaza as "The Butcher from Khan Younis."
