Lekki-Epe International Airport is a new airport being built on a 3,500-hectare site in the Lekki-Epe area of Lagos State. The airport is expected to have a capacity of five million passengers per year and will be funded through a public-private partnership.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 is a new terminal that is currently being constructed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State. The new terminal is expected to have a capacity of 14 million passengers per year and will be funded by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The Lekki-Epe International Airport is expected to be completed in 2025, while the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 is expected to be completed in 2024. These new airports will help to relieve congestion at the existing Murtala Muhammed International Airport and will boost economic development in Lagos State.
