RIAT 2025: BEST OF . . . EVERYTHING - A FULL RECAP 4K (airshowvision)

Описание: This video is the full story of the RIAT 2025 airshow . . . it has the very best moments from the show itself, interspersed with the best of the international arrivals and departures, plus a final look at the static park. All displays are included to some degree.

Although the organisers were quite unlucky in the final few days before the show with pilot injuries and airframe breakages - effectively weakening the line-up, the show still boasted a huge array of international visitors and hundreds of planes!

Weather was changeable, but mostly dry for the flying displays with more sun as the day wore on on the sunday, and we were blessed with perfect conditions for Wednesday arrivals.

In terms of colour the Pakistani Air Force stole the show with their "Big Bird" C130 Hercules, and they provided a RIAT first in the shape of the JF17 Thunder fighters. They also provided a rare glimpse these days of their soviet era Ilyushin Midas tanker, missing since the last time the Ukranians brought one in 2019.

Other notable "heavy" visitors included the Lockheed C5 Super Galaxy from the USAF, and a static B1b Supersonic bomber, sadly sidelined through a failure, and no spare arrived.
The highlight for many of us though were the fighters, which included three Typhoon demos from 3 of the 4 partner nations of Britain, Spain and Italy, two F16 displays, including the very last from the Danish Air Force, complete with water cannon salute. Also topping the fighter bill was the Finnish AF F/A18c Hornet with its' showstopping display, plus a second each day from the reserve pilot. What an effort!

Saab also provided another look at the Gripen E, using an aircraft from their test fleet in it's interesting livery.

Two of the world's great aerobatic teams were here in the shape of the Frecce Tricolori from Italy, and the Red Arrows from the UK.


A debutant to RIAT was the Egyptian AF with the rare Antonov Coaler in its' lovely desert livery, adding to the soviet built spice.

Helicopters were lit up by the Czech Sokol extended SAR demonstration which was unusual to say the least!!! Also there is a comprehensive Chinook demo from the RAF in a very heavy downpour
2025 was not a vintage RIAT by any means, but still a whopping show - roll on 2025!

Hopefully we can get the Luftwaffe Tornado demo next year and maybe a final look at some Polish soviet hardware??? Maybe also the Indians might be inspired by the Pakistani visit and bring us a Sukhoi Su30MKI to give us a thrust-vectoring demo as it will be 20 years since the Mig company brought the Mig29 OVT to wow us! We can only wait and hope . . .
