I was a founding member and the original bass player for the southern California punk rock band, Uniform Choice. This was one of the first songs I wrote for the band and this recording is from a live 2 track demo recording we made in 1982. I wrote the song at the time because we were living during a period when we had to register for the draft once we graduated from high school, and we were genuinely convinced that World War III was on the horizon. The movie I took the footage from was made the following year in 1983 playing on those exact fears of a nuclear holocaust.

The track appears on the Uniform Choice 7" record "1982 Orange Peel Sessions" that was released in 2015.
The movie footage seen in this video is from the movie "The Day After" and I synced everything to digital audio from my original recording.
