Originating from Rimsky-Korsakov's 1896 play, "Sadko", this piece within itself saw its fair share of vocal and instrumental renditions. From the sentimental, lachrymose recitations by Fritz Kreisler or Mischa Elman, to the far more stride, novelty tone of Zez Confrey. (QRS roll 1837)
