Sen. Wyden joins KATU to discuss State of the Union, tariffs, Iran and more

Описание: President Donald Trump delivered a record-breaking State of the Union address on Feb. 24, speaking for one hour and 48 minutes.

During the speech, Trump touted the state of the economy, saying, “Millions and millions of Americans are all gaining. Everybody's up, way up.”

Several members of the congressional delegations from Oregon and Washington did not attend the State of the Union, including Oregon Reps. Maxine Dexter and Suzanne Bonamici, and Washington Sen. Patty Murray.

Oregon Sens. Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden were also absent, holding a joint virtual town hall from Capitol Hill.
