With the many of the world's top pros in Southern California for the US Open up at Huntington, a number of them headed down to Lowers, Trestles to score some epic summer time south swell. For a lot of these female surfers it is only a quick one hour drive down the coast to Trestles from the contest. So on their lay days or if they failed to move forward in their rounds, they can come to Lowers to get some practice in.
