A viewer (I can't remember who) sent this in a couple of years ago, and me being as busy as I am, I just couldn't get round to it until now. Anyway, this is a little circuit board that adds dynamic noise reduction using the LM1894N IC. So, I'm going to be testing out how it sounds, with my homemade tape recorder as the audio source.
Of course me being the idiot that I am I accidentally used the wrong kind of tape in my homemade tape recorder! It's optimized for type 1 tape and I used a type 2, thinking it was a type 1, so that's why the recordings sound a little tinny and I just can't be arsed to re-do it with the right tape. And I forgot to turn of the screen capture.
Also, I'm trying out a new way of doing my videos, without editing, but using the pause of my video capture, witch is more in the sprit of old-school CoolDudeClem style. This is probably the way I'll do them from now on, and in the future use a video editor to add titles and whatnot. I'm going to be looking for a better camera soon.
