Today we walk along one of the main cherry blossom locations in Berlin, the so called 'Kirschblütenweg' near Bornholmer Straße.
The Bornholmer Straße gained its place in history, as being the first border crossing for East German citizens on the 9th of November 1989, the day the Berlin Wall fell.
Especially with that in mind, what a peaceful situation to be found here! Locals enjoying themselves in groups or by themselves, and lovers taking pictures under the Cherry Trees. People were bike riding, taking their dogs for a walk, enjoying the spring sun, or just chilling with friends.
