The easiest way to cook bones tender & buttery Hilsa Fish Curry, Burmese style (with the addition of fish roe). Hilsa fish is one of the most popular and high in demand type of fish in Myanmar. It is a type of Indian Herring which USED to be abundant along the Bay of Bengal.
Traditionally, tomatoes are included but in this recipe we preferred to leave it out. You get the most out of this dish by enjoying it with freshly made jasmine rice & balachaung (home-made fried chili-garlic condiment). #BurmeseFoodRecipes #MyanmarFishCurry #HilsaFishRecipe
Marinate Ingredients for the fish:
3tbs Soy Sauce
2tbs Dark Soy Sauce
3tbs Fish Sauce
3tbs White Vinegar
1tsp Sugar
2tsp Paprika
1tsp Grounded Black Pepper
2 thumb sie Ginger (finely chopped/minced)
5-6 Garlic Cloves
2 large Shallots
3tbs Oil
1tsp Salt
