📘 Welcome to Our Mathematics Channel (Math with Zafar Iqbal)
This channel is dedicated to making mathematics simple, clear, and interesting for everyone. Whether you're a school student or just love numbers, we break down concepts step-by-step so you can truly understand them. From basic algebra to advanced topics, we focus on building strong foundations and problem-solving skills.
🎯 Today’s Topic: Domain and Range of a Function
🔹 Domain of a Function
The domain is the set of all possible input values (usually x-values) for which a function is defined.
In simple words, it tells us what values we are allowed to put into the function.
Example:
For ,
x cannot be 0 (because division by zero is not defined).
So, the domain is all real numbers except 0.
🔹 Range of a Function
The range is the set of all possible output values (y-values) that the function can produce.
It tells us what values the function can give as results.
Example:
For ,
the output is always positive or zero.
So, the range is y ≥ 0..
