In this tutorial, we have discussed the anatomy of a muscle which forms the floor of Lateral Cervical Region, the Levator Scapulae. This muscle belongs to the Superficial Extrinsic Back Region and lies deep to the Trapezius muscle. All other important study points such as origin, insertion, nerve supply, vascular supply and actions have been described stepwise with explanation in this tutorial.
