FINGER MILLET RAGI BREAD | GLUTEN FREE | GAME CHANGER EGGLESS RECIPE
FINGER MILLET MEANS RAGI BREAD - ITS A GLUTEN-FREE BREAD WITH SOME CHOPPED GARLIC, SEASONING AND CHILLI FLAKES.
GLUTEN-FREE BREAD IS VERY HEALTHY 🍃
YOU CAN HAVE THIS MILLET BREAD WITH AVOCADO 🥑 SPREAD OR YOUR CHOICE OF SPREAD.

HERB GARLIC FINGER MILLET BREAD RECIPE 👇👇
INGREDIENTS :
SORGHUM FLOUR 40 GM
MILLET FINGER FLOUR 40 GM
CORN STARCH 20 GM
TAPIOCA FLOUR 25 GM
ARROWROOT FLOUR 20 GM
ISABGOL HUSK 8 GM
INSTANT YEAST 5 GM
SUGAR 12 GM
BAKING SODA 1/8 TSP + PINCH
SALT 3 GM
OIL 13 GM
VINEGAR 1/2 + 1/4 TSP
WARM WATER 208 GM
CHILLI FLAKES AS REQ.
OREGANO AS REQ.
CHOPPED GARLIC AS REQ.
METHOD :
IN A BOWL ADD SIFTED SORGHUM(JOWAR) FLOUR, MILLET FINGER (RAGI)FLOUR, CORN STARCH, TAPIOCA (SABUDANA) ARROWROOT & MIX ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS WELL.
ADD BAKING SODA AND SALT AND MIX IT.
IN ANOTHER BOWL TAKE POWDER SUGAR, WARM WATER AND ADD YEAST, MIX IT WELL. THEN ADD OIL AND MIX IT.
TAKE A BIG BOWL ADD ISABGOL HUSK POWDER AND WARM WATER TO SOAK IT PROPERLY. KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 5 MINUTES THEN ADD YEAST MIXTURE TO IT AND VINEGAR.
MIX IT WELL.
NOW THE MIXTURE WILL LOOK THICK BUT MAKE SURE ALL THE WET INGREDIENTS ARE MIX WELL.
THEN ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND CHILLI FALKES, OREGANO AND CHOPPED GARLIC.
MIX EVERYTHING WITH SPATULA.
USE ELECTRIC BLENDER TO MIX IT WELL.
ONCE YOU GET A DOUGH COVER IT WITH CLOTH AND REST FOR 5 MINUTES.
AFTER 5 MINUTES JUST FOLD THE DOUGH WITH SPATULA. APPLY OIL TO SPATULA SO DOUGH WILL NOT STICK TO THE SPATULA.
NOW TAKE A GREASED MOULD AND PUT THE DOUGH IN A MOULD.
EVEN OUT THE SURFACE WITH SPATULA.
THEN GIVE A MILK WASH OR YOU CAN APPLY WATER ALSO.
SPRINKLE SOME CHILLI FLAKES AND OREGANO AND REST IT FOR 1 HOUR UNTIL IT DOUBLE IN SIZE.
AFTER 1 HOUR BAKE IT IN A PRE HEATED OVEN @180*C FOR 45-50 MINUTES.
GLUTEN FREE MILLET BREAD TAKE LONGER TIME THAN USUAL MAIDA BREAD.
HOW TO CHECK WHETHER ITS BAKED OR NOT?
USE TOOTHPICK IF TOOTHPICK IS CLEAN THEN BREAD IS BAKED.
BECAUSE OF LONGER TIME BAKING ITS TOP BECOME BROWN.
ONCE THE BREAD IS BAKED TAKE IT OUT FROM THE OVEN.
APPLY OIL OR BUTTER AND DE-MOULD WHEN ITS HOT.
COVER WITH DAMP CLOTH AND REST FOR 4-5 HOURS.
ONCE THE BREAD IS COMPLETELY COOL THEN CUT IT INTO SLICES.
YOU CAN ENJOY GLUTEN FREE BREAD WITH ANY CHOICE OF SPREAD OR MAKE SANDWICHES !
