Artificial intelligence was founded as an academic discipline in 1956. AI research has tried and discarded many different approaches since its founding, including simulating the brain, modeling human problem solving, formal logic, large databases of knowledge and imitating animal behavior. 3 steps to AI includes:
1. Speech recognition : AI is developed in a manner that it can easily understand the most commonly used human language, English. This way, the platform allows the computers to understand the different computer programs executed over them easily.
2. Decision making : This is when data processing – like analyzing trends and suggesting courses of action – is done either in part or completely by an AI platform.
3. Visual perception : Visual perception is an interactive process in which eye movements are actively used to select the patterns of light entering the eyes.
