DOM element variable in Google Tag Manager

Описание: When a browser downloads HTML, it renders the Document Object Model (DOM). All elements that you see in your browser window are part of the DOM.

DOM enables developers to manipulate website elements, to add new ones, remove them or read the information about them.

That’s to the ability to retrieve data, DOM element variable in Google Tag Manager becomes very useful. It allows you to access (almost) any element on a page and get its text or some parameter/attribute.

In this video, I will show you how to access order id and order total (on the order confirmation page) and send that information to Google Ads together with the rest of the conversion data.
