Pizza shop reopens after Dave Portnoy's viral review, new oven donation

Artisan Pizza Cafe reopened its doors Wednesday morning.

A "One-Bite Pizza Review" by internet celebrity Dave Portnoy went viral, prompting a crush of business that broke Artisan's pizza oven.

Upon hearing the news, Portnoy generously purchased a brand new oven for the cafe.

Ahmed says she’s grateful for the support from both the community and those who helped her get back up and running. With the new oven in place, she hopes the business can continue serving customers without interruption.

“If somebody says there’s no good people, you’re wrong,” she said. “There are a lot of good people who care.”
