I stopped in Owensboro along CSX's S line when I heard radio traffic of a train crew setting out a couple of bad cars. The train crew found they had more troubles when the DPU engine shut down for the second time on their trip south from Wildwood Fl. I watched as a 10,000 foot long freight train moved back and fourth on the main line setting out its bad cars for nearly two plus hours. By the time the crew was done they were just about out of hours and they had to find a place where the could secure the train and wait for a new crew.
