Easter Weekend 2019 saw the grand public unveiling of the Somerdale Shunter, a Sentinel loco that worked at Fry’s Chocolate Factory in nearby Keynsham.
A team of volunteers headed up by Eric and George have spent several years restoring the loco to working order, the last time it steamed was over 50 years ago. Visitors were able to travel in a brake van which also included a free Fry’s chocolate bar with the ride!
