**Definition of Order Flow**: Order flow refers to the movement in the market before a significant change. In a downtrend, the last buying before the drop and in an uptrend, the last selling before a rise are considered order flows.
**Understanding Impulsive and Corrective Moves**: Impulsive moves are major movements in the market, while corrective moves are pullbacks. Order flow is observed during corrective moves.
**Mitigated vs. Unmitigated Order Flow**: Mitigated order flow means that the price has already adjusted or reacted, making it less effective. Unmitigated order flow, on the other hand, remains valid for trading opportunities.
**Identifying Effective Order Flow**: Effective order flow should be marked on charts, focusing on areas where it is unmitigated. These are the zones where order blocks or fair value gaps will likely be valid.
**Practical Application**: Use charts to mark highs and lows of order flows, distinguishing between mitigated and unmitigated flows. Unmitigated order flows are preferred for identifying valid trading opportunities.
