Short flight with some mild aero's and a steamy ending!
Every flight is a learning experience and taking the spit up on a hot summers day was certainly an experience in controlling engine temperatures. Just prior to shutdown a final throttle burst to clear the Spit's throat was just enough to tip the temperature over and it's time for a steam facial anyone?
A crosswind also makes for an interesting landing!
