Why Fly to Everglades City?

Описание: Everglades City Airport may close! The town wants the airport but the County says it isn't making money. It is a really fun place to fly into and spend a day or two. Beautiful aerial scenery, very little air traffic, not crowded. All points of interest are less then a half hour walk from the airport. Many other great restaurants and good places to stay not shown in this video. You can arrange for golf carts, scooters or bikes to be brought out to the airport and then also visit Chokoloskee Island. Fly in and help save this great little airport!

They have a great seafood festival every February!

You can call the airport office at 239-252-6298, attended Mon-Sat 8:30-5 to check fuel status and check NOTAMS. South windsock is shielded by trees, north windsock is good. Non-standard traffic pattern. Runway was re-done about 2022 and is now 60-feet wide.
