• In this travel video, travel writer Mark Chesnut takes you on a tour of the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Leon, a hotel in the largest city in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. You'll visit the hotel lobby, bar and lounge, one of the cheapest guest rooms and two restaurants, including a brand new venue called La Esmeralda del Bajio, which serves creative cocktails and authentic cuisine and hosts live music on some nights (you'll get to hear some in this video).
This is a mid-priced Mexico hotel, making it a good option for budget travel in the heart of downtown León, Guanajuato. But be careful about which room you choose! I provide a tour of my room, which is one of the cheapest but has a bad view. You may want to splurge to enjoy the best city view.
