New Zealand Bikepacking, Takaka Hill, Rameka Track to Heaphy Track. October 2022

Описание: Bikepacking in New Zealand South Island. We rode from Motueka, Riwaka to Brown Hut at the start of the Heaphy Track in Golden Bay. Our journey took us up Takaka Hill and down the Rameka Track towards Collingwood and beyond on full suspension mountain bikes. A trek Fuel EX 9.9 and a Santa Cruz Tallboy.

The bridge over the Heaphy river was still destroyed after the February 2022 floods. A few days before we rode the western side of the Heaphy Track from Karamea to the Heaphy River. This mission was the staging of riding the Eastern side of the Heaphy Track as far as we could go.
