Channel points were introduced on Twitch on December 16th 2019, although it wouldn’t be until December 30th that Jerma would add his own unique channel point redemption to his channel. The Jerma Wink. This was the result of a pre stream chat suggestion the morning of the No More Heroes finale stream. Jerma Wink cost 75,000 channel points to redeem.
The first real wink was redeemed on the Kingsway stream on January 16th 2020, by chat member Tingy. The winks continued for roughly three months with Jerma getting continuously more tired of them, until he decided to put an end to it on the fifth community content night. Winks were discounted to 10,000 channel points and left on for around a minute before being shut off in panic at the sheer amount of winks being redeemed at once. After winking 555 times on March 8th 2020, the Jerma Wink channel point redemption was never seen again.
