Oil leak repair caused by a defective upper oil pan gasket
NEW FELPRO GASKET INSTALLED

Recommended:
Tighten all bolts to the gasket to manufacture spec prior to installing the transmission cover plate. Removing this cover is necessary to gain access to some of the bolts that secure the upper oil gasket in place.
Before or After installation power wash everything that has oil on it, this will make it easier to see if the leak is still present.
Because I had the car lifted from the front, oil migrated into the cavity of the transmission. Once I installed the cover plate and drove the car it appeared as if there was still a leak, it was just the puddle of oil trapped in that cavity working its way out. I removed the cover and verified the seal was not leaking.
Remember to add oil before starting the engine I used 5w-20 per the manufacturer.
Other than that everything went smooth
