First Start in 16 Years!!! 1973 BMW 2002

Описание: We got this BMW running that's been sitting for 16 years! In the first part we just show what we did to get this old BMW from not running for years to firing back up. We started with poring oil over the valves and trying to lubricate everything. We then decided we would turn the motor over by hand to lubricate everything. Doing that helped us prevent any damage from poor lubrication. We then flushed out the fluids and put new fluids in. We tried starting the car after that but it was still having a hard time. Thats when we decided to use a can of starter fluid and sure enough the car fired up. once we had it running everything went smooth. We let the car run and get warm. Once the car warmed up we wanted to turn if off and ran into the issue of the car not turning of. So we figured we can just pull the spark plugs and try to let it die that way. To our surprise pulling the sparkplugs out did not stop this wild motor. I am still not sure how it was running with out the motor. So we went to the next logical step was to get rid of the oxygen. So we wrapped the carb with a cloth to kill the car. Over all this was a great way to get the car started. Our next plan is to slowly start making the car road worthy and mechanically sound.
