Описание: This 1986 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia (Westy) Wolfsburg Weekender is our current getaway vehicle. This is our sixth VW van that we have owned. It’s not much to look at but we have taken a lot of care to ensure it is solid and roadworthy. We have learned to value functionality more than athletics in these vans. We regularly use the 4x4 to get into tight cozy little secluded spots along the streams and mountains. No worries about scraping a fancy paint job as we crawl down a densely grown over fire road with shrubs and branches scraping the sides.

This van is our happy place, and there is no feeling like knowing you can go almost anywhere you want without the bulk of a large RV. We feel free in this van and every time we jump in and drive we want to just keep going.

The Subaru 2.5 engine turns this van into beast mode. Heading over a steep mountain pass in the rain and need to quickly get around that semi truck spraying mist across the road? No problem. The joy of passing people going up hill in a VW van is priceless.

When night falls and you need a place to sleep we go stealth mode by keeping the top down or go full top up to get head room, ventilation and a second bed or storage area.

We love the weekender style with the jump seat and no cabinet, sink, or stove because there is more room.

These vans are extremely hard to find and very rare. They are so unique and fun and we get a lot of attention everywhere we go.
