Madden dropped a HUGE patch for Madden 16 and it's CHANGING THE WAY WE PLAY. There are so many fixes -- big and small -- that I can't even begin to cover all the different ways that it affects the game.

It's clear that with this patch EA is trying to spread the message that they're LACTOSE INTOLERANT -- and they're doing everything they can to address and fix the CHEESE that people use to "cheat" online.

While it's obvious that there are still going to be people working hard at finding NEW ways to take advantage of the AI... for the VAST MAJORITY of people this patch will go a long way toward making the game more enjoyable.

Are you used to getting sacked without having time to even look at the defense? Well, not anymore! Updates to the offensive line make it more difficult to send "nanos" -- which results in a more realistic gameplay environment.

Tired of people jumping offsides to block a field goal -- forcing overtime... or worse? That nonsense is SHUT DOWN. Now you'll be able to kick field goals as time expires... as you should have been able to all along.

The best part?

They FINALLY changed the "Challenge Play" button from LT -- which is used in pre-play adjustments -- to clicking the right joystick. NO MORE WASTED TIME OUTS!!!

The REAL best part?

They added an ENTIRELY NEW GAME MODE -- called Ranked Draft Champions -- that has AMAZING REWARDS. Now you can compete online, try out new cards, and GET REWARDED FOR IT. This might be my new favorite game mode... but time will tell.
