The invention of flight was less than two decades ago, yet they had evolved and been equipped to engage in combat. Clyde Blackburn loses a bet against British pilot George Rackham to fly the British biplane fighter, the Bristol F2.A. Nevertheless, he successfully subdues Rackham and takes his identity, piloting the fighter with gunner Wilson, over the French Alps for a test run, both simulated and in combat.
