IS IT BAD TO BE IMPULSIVE?

Each of these things obviously are very nuanced and some should take longer than others. But impulsivity has the potential to do a lot of danger in our lives. Sometimes the most difficult situations we’ll ever deal with in our lives are a result of a simple decision we made with just a little bit of information. We're buying something that we can't afford or we're committing to a relationship that's not good for us simply because we feel good about it in the moment. We're not bad people, we're just emotional people. You know, in the book of Judges, there's a man named Jephthah, and he had just won a major battle on behalf of God's people and he was so excited that he made a vow in the name of God, and it ended up costing his daughter's life and changing his forever. While we don't want to get frozen in the moment, making every choice take forever, it's important to consider before we make a life decision, have I paused and listened to God before acting on my impulse.
