Описание: John Keats, one of the most beloved poets of the Romantic period, was born in London in 1795 and died young at the age of only 25. Despite his short life, he created some of the most beautiful and deeply emotional poetry in the English language. Keats was a poet of senses, imagination, beauty, and deep thought. His works reflect a unique sensitivity to life, death, love, art, and the natural world. He believed that poetry should be a thing of beauty, a source of eternal joy and reflection. In poems like Ode to a Nightingale, Ode on a Grecian Urn, To Autumn, and La Belle Dame Sans Merci, he weaves words into rich tapestries of feeling and thought. Keats’s poetic voice was gentle yet intense, calm yet filled with passion. Even though he died before he could see the fame his poetry would achieve, his work lives on, admired by readers across generations.
